Althorp Village is being developed by the Church and Munro families who owned and operated the land as an organic kiwifruit orchard for many years before the village started. The land, on a gentle north facing slope, traps the sun all day and was always going to be a perfect place to live.
The directors and shareholders of Althorp Village Ltd are committed to developing a village where all residents have a feeling of certainty and security for the future while enjoying the present. They wish to provide the means for residents to extend their range of activities and social life, if they wish.

Althorp provides the benefits and certainty of an Occupation Right Agreement with the advantage of an independent Statutory Supervisor. Neither the families or the Statutory Supervisor guarantee the offer of occupation licences by Althorp Village Ltd.
Applications can only be accepted on the application form contained in the Disclosure Statement for Althorp Village issued in accordance with the Retirement Villages Act.
